Associate

Events Associate will assist the Director of Academic Events and Director of Social Affairs with planning and execution of all events ITMSA has planned for the year.

As an Events Associate, you will be conducting class talks, assisting with the logistics of the events, and ensuring the successful execution of the event on the day of.

In this role, you will be providing creative input to assist the Events team in achieving strategic goals for the year.

As a member of the Street Team, you will aid the Marketing team in promoting the ITMSA and its upcoming events.

Your primary means of doing so will be through class talks and presence at ITMSA pop-ups around TRSM. Ability to approach strangers and speak in front of an audience is a strong asset.

The role of the Marketing Associate will be to assist the Marketing team in increasing student engagement and brand awareness for the ITMSA.

You will receive the opportunity to work closely with the Director of Social Media and Director of Graphics to provide creative input to assist the team in achieving our marketing targets for the year.

The role of the Corporate Relations Associate will be to aid and assist the Directors of Corporate Relations in developing strategies to attract and secure sponsorship opportunities.

As a Corporate Relations Associate you will be responsible for conducting industry research to update our contact lists with potential sponsors/speakers, assist in building and maintaining professional relationships, and providing creative input to assist the corporate team in achieving our strategic goals for the year.

Case Competition Associate will assist the Director of Case Competitions with planning and execution of all the competitions the ITMSA has planned for the year.

As a Case Competitions Associate, you will be conducting class talks, assisting with the logistics of the events, and ensuring the successful execution of the event on the day of.

In this role, you will be providing creative input to assist the Case Competitions team in achieving our strategic goals for the year.

Junior Executive

Director of Academic Events is responsible for leading the planning of academic and career focused events.

They are responsible for aiding in the planning, organization and execution of all ITMSA events and for promoting ITMSA events to TRSITM students in all years.

They are also responsible for following objectives set by immediate Vice Presidents at all times.

Director of Social Affairs is responsible for leading the planning of social and community focused events and for aiding in the planning, organization and execution of all ITMSA events.

They are responsible for promoting ITMSA events to TRSITM students in all years and for following objectives set by immediate Vice Presidents at all times.

Director of Case Competitions is responsible for aiding in the planning, organization and execution of all case competitions.

They are responsible for promoting ITMSA events to TRSITM students in all years and for following objectives set by immediate Vice Presidents at all times.

Director of Social Media is responsible for assisting the planning and execution of marketing initiatives and promotional materials and for managing all social media accounts including Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, and Twitter.

They are also responsible for promoting ITMSA events to TRSITM students in all years and for following objectives set by immediate Vice Presidents at all times.

Director of Campus Outreach is responsible for assisting the planning and execution of marketing initiatives and promotional materials.

They are responsible for the organization and planning of outreach initiatives including, but not limited to booking kiosks for promotions in TRSM and across campus, brainstorming outreach initiatives, etc.

They also promote ITMSA events to TRSITM students in all years and follow objectives set by immediate Vice Presidents at all times.

Director of Graphics reports directly to the Vice President of Marketing.

They are responsible for designing and printing all graphic content (posters, business cards, banners, name tags, certificates etc.).

They should work in coherence with the Events team to create graphics in accordance with their vision for the content and they should work with the Vice-Presidents of Marketing and Corporate Relations to create the necessary sponsorship package(s).

Director of Corporate Relations shall be present in all meetings and conference calls with internal/external sponsors if deemed necessary by the Vice President of Corporate Relations.

They will work with the Vice President of Corporate Relations to secure all potential sponsors and the Marketing team to create the corporate package.

They are also expected to attend all full team meetings and be responsible for following objectives set by immediate Vice Presidents at all times.

Director of Finance is responsible for working with the Vice President of Finance on all tasks related to finances for ITMSA.

They are responsible for following all objectives set by Vice President of Finance and for ensuring the adequate availability of all financial resources.

They are also responsible for gathering and presenting the necessary material during funding presentation and they are expected to attend all executive meetings.

Senior Executive

Vice President of Finance is responsible for managing all financial transactions of the ITMSA, keeping an accurate record of all cash flows and synchronizing this record with the President.

They are responsible for working with the President to create a budget for the upcoming academic year and ensuring that the Executive follows the outlined budget.

They also are responsible for working with the Finance lead on Connect IT and WITM to ensure all budgets are managed correctly, for signing and submitting all ITMSA-related cheques and requisitions, and for submitting and presenting funding requests. The VP of Finance is one of the three signing officers of the ITMSA Bank Account.

They are responsible for promoting ITMSA events to TRSITM students in all years.

The Vice President of Finance reports to the President and Executive Vice President. They are responsible for training the incoming Vice President of Finance and respective Directors.

Vice President of Corporate Relations is responsible for the promotion of the TRSITM brand and subsequent program(s) to external entities.

They are responsible for being the liaison between the ITMSA and external corporate entities for the successive sponsorship of events, including working with the Corporate Relations of Connect IT, RCS, and WITM.

They are also responsible for the organization and election of ITMSA Associates at the beginning of each year and for promoting ITMSA events to TRSITM students in all years.

The Vice President of Corporate Relations reports to the President & Executive Vice President. They are responsible for training the incoming Vice President of Corporate Relations and respective Directors.

Vice President of Marketing manages the Director of Marketing to ensure that responsibilities and objectives are met.

They are responsible for the promotion of TRSITM brand and subsequent program(s) to the Ryerson Community and all surrounding communities, internal and external to Ryerson.

They are also responsible for organizing merchandise and ensuring merchandise is sold with reasonable profit, for leading all promotional materials and marketing campaigns for all ITMSA events and ensuring delegation of event promotion, and for promoting ITMSA events to TRSITM students in all years.

The Vice President of Marketing reports to the President & Executive Vice President. They are responsible for training the incoming Vice President of Marketing and respective Directors.

Vice President of Technology is responsible for developing, maintaining, and updating the ITMSA website.

They are also responsible for creating any additional sub-sites for events and case competitions throughout the year. The Vice President of Technology advises on website related costs such as hosting services and domain purchases.

The Vice President of Technology reports to the President and Executive Vice President. They are responsible for training the incoming Vice President of Technology.

Vice President of Case Competitions manages the Case Competition Directors and ensure all responsibilities and objectives are met.

They are responsible for leading the planning, organization and execution of all case competitions, for promoting ITMSA events to TRSITM students in all years, and for following objectives set by immediate Vice Presidents at all times.

The Vice President of Case Competitions reports to the President & Executive Vice President. They are responsible for training the incoming Vice President of Case Competitions and respective Directors.

Vice President of Events manages the Director of Academic Affairs and Director of Social Affairs to ensure that responsibilities and objectives are met.

They are responsible for working with the Director of Academic Affairs to plan, organize and execute academic, industry, and career related events for TRSITM students.

They are also responsible for working with the Director of Social Affairs to plan, organize and execute social events for TRSITM students.

They will arrange and execute Frosh Week activities, be present at all ITMSA academic and social events unless the Executive is otherwise notified with justified cause for absence, be a point of contact for the Graduation Committee for TRSITM, and be a point of contact for all academic conferences.

They will be responsible for promoting ITMSA events to TRSITM students in all years.

The Vice President of Events reports to the President and Executive Vice President. They are responsible for training the incoming Vice President of Events and respective Directors.

Executive Vice President will act as President if the President is not present or is unavailable at general meetings.

They are responsible of ensuring efficient execution of all ITMSA operations, assisting other executives in event preparation, planning, and execution, Supporting all executives in their duties, including booking rooms, equipment, and any logistics for events and promotions.

They also consolidate all information from current, present and future years, organize and document all information consisting of events ideas, post-mortems, budgets, internal policies & procedures, RCS & RSU policies & procedures, and all other forms of information.

The Executive Vice President is responsible for creating a cohesive community between ITMSA, Connect IT and WITM. They report to the President and are responsible for training the incoming Executive Vice President.

The President shall be held accountable for all actions undertaken by the ITMSA, members of the ITMSA and all associated committees.

They are responsible for setting dates and agendas for each meeting, for creating relationships with Ted Rogers Students' Society and all course unions under the Ted Rogers School of Management, and for working with the Vice President of Finance to create a year-long budget for the upcoming academic year and utilizing the budget outlined by TRSS to its full potential.

They are responsible for the ITMSA succession planning; the preparation of the incoming team and continuity of each Executive Position.

The President is responsible for working with the Vice President of Events, Vice President of Case Competitions and Vice President of Marketing to plan, organize and execute events for TRSITM students.
