  • Fri., September 17, 2010 – BTM Meet and Greet (TRS 1-003 @ 12:00pm – 3:00pm)
Want more advice than what was given at BTM Orientation/Notebook Orientation? Want to get the chance to talk to upper-year students one-on-one? Get the opportunity to swap/buy books, make new friends, learn how you can join the ITMSA, and enjoy free food/drinks at the second-annual BTM Meet and Greet!

Quick Tips:

  • Try to bring a bag with you during Orientation Week (to put flyers/freebies in)
  • Wait until the first day of class to get your course profile/outline/syllabus, and after that buy the required textbook(s) from upper-level year students, the Used Bookstore (Student Campus Centre), Discount Bookstore (south of Gould), and/or the Ryerson Bookstore (listed in order of most economic at a descending rate!)
  • Remember that all other first-years are new as well, so smile and don’t be afraid to say hello and introduce yourself!
  • You can get awesome advice from upper-year students and ITMSA executive members; we’re here to help! (don’t forget we were first-years too)
